Our Story
The Bamboo – Whisper the shine of the River – the Butterflies and Dragon Flies

Where It All Began
In 2018, on the quiet island of Cam Kim, in the heart of Quang Nam, a dream began to take shape — not from blueprints, but from the earth itself.
Surrounded by lush nature and the gentle rhythm of the Thu Bon River, a small team started building not just villas, but a place that would breathe in tune with its surroundings.
From the very beginning, Oasya trusted the hands of the village — the same people who had shaped boats, woven mats, and tilled the land for generations. Every wall, every pathway carries their story. Building Oasya wasn’t about speed; it was about respecting time — five years of patience, of slow crafting, of listening to the land.
The River That Tells Stories
The Thu Bon River has always been more than a river. It’s a storyteller.
For centuries, it carried traders, fishermen, and dreamers between Hoi An and the sea. Along its banks, cultures met and blended — Vietnamese, Chinese, Dutch, Japanese — leaving behind not ruins, but harmonies.
Oasya was born from that same spirit: cosmopolitan yet rooted, where each detail whispers of a journey. From the Chinese sense of harmony, the Dutch eye for simplicity, and the French touch in the lines, to the Malagasy warmth in the hospitality and the Vietnamese soul in every smile — Oasya carries within it the essence of many worlds.
The river’s current connects them all — a symbol of flow, exchange, and quiet strength.

A Place for All Souls
Over time, Oasya became more than villas —it became a community of souls. Artists, travelers, families, and dreamers from around the world found in it a home away from noise. A space where cultures blend effortlessly, over coffee by the river or laughter at sunset.
But Oasya is not only a sanctuary for rest — it’s also a place where clarity and focus naturally unfold. The stillness of the river, the rhythm of the day, the softness of light — they all help minds find direction and creativity. Here, calm doesn’t mean stopping; it means moving with purpose.
Every guest adds a new layer to the story — a melody in a larger symphony. Here, mornings start with birds and yoga by the water; evenings end with soft light and slow conversations.

The Human Craft
Every piece at Oasya carries a trace of human touch. The wood was carved by village artisans, the gardens shaped by hands that know the rhythm of the seasons. Nothing here is overdesigned; everything feels lived, loved, and slightly imperfect — the kind of beauty that doesn’t shout, it breathes.
Oasya celebrates the real and effortless, from handcrafted details to heartfelt moments. The philosophy was simple yet radical: to create with, not against. To build a place where nature leads and humans follow — with grace, with intention.

Today and Beyond
Today, Oasya stands as a living reflection of what can be
built when time, nature, and people move together.
From the patience of the villagers to the flow of the Thu Bon
River, everything here reminds us: beauty doesn’t rush.
Oasya remains faithful to its origin — a sun-kissed, comforting
tropical escape, and a quiet pause from the noisy
world.
It’s not just a destination. It’s a way of being — born from
Cam Kim, shaped by many, and always in motion.
